The first blog I looked at was posted on iheartraves and wasn’t very visually inviting. The blog opens with a picture of the author at Ultra in Miami accompanied by a humorous hook to captivate the reader. The blog was visually appealing because it broke up its writing into short sections that were separated by images of herself at the festival or images posted on Ultra’s website.
The second blog I focused on was posted on theblogabroad and gave a different perspective of Ultra not only because the author attended Ultra in Croatia, but because it was her first experience ever at a music festival. The blog was more visually inviting due to its large header and list format. Her writing was organized into ten reasons which really brought the reader in and kept them alert throughout the entire blog. It looked like all of the pictures and videos she used were taken on her own devices which gave her some credibility, but it was obvious throughout her writing that this was her first festival.
